Furan resin

Self-hardening furan resin for casting refers to a thermosetting resin—typically a pale yellow to brownish, transparent or semi-transparent, uniformly colored liquid—made by modifying furfuryl alcohol or phenol with urea and various aldehydes, which hardens at room temperature via acid catalysis and contains furan rings in its molecular structure.

Hardener

The sulfonic acid curing agent for casting resins is a liquid curing agent produced by sulfuric acid sulfonation and subsequent separation of benzene, toluene, and xylene. This product appears as a brownish-red or brownish-transparent liquid, free from any visible insoluble particles under the naked eye. It should remain completely free of crystallization at temperatures above -15°C.
