Self-hardening furan resin for casting refers to a thermosetting resin—typically a pale yellow to brownish, transparent or semi-transparent, uniformly colored liquid—made by modifying furfuryl alcohol or phenol with urea and various aldehydes, which hardens at room temperature via acid catalysis and contains furan rings in its molecular structure.
The mold release agent for casting is a silvery-white suspension that evaporates quickly, provides excellent coating performance, and ensures high efficiency—allowing a single application to be reused multiple times. It prevents sticking to the mold and effectively addresses both sand adhesion and demolding issues.
Coatings are viscous liquids formulated with organic solvents or water, typically based on resins, oils, or emulsions, and may include or exclude pigments and fillers, along with appropriate additives, to create a continuous film that adheres firmly to the surface of the object being protected or decorated.
